About Alison Curtis

Alison is a qualified coach, therapist, and facilitator. However, the one thing that pulls all these roles together is her passion for relationships which she describes as, “Wonderful when they are going well, incredibly stressful when they aren’t!” She qualified as a therapist in 2001, and a coach in 2004 but most of her work has been with business leaders supporting them with their impact, influence and how to create the right culture with their teams. However, all that went out of the window when the pandemic struck, so she then turned her hand to additionally working with couples, which had been a lifelong (but unfulfilled) area of interest.

Asked about what she gets out of this work, she said, “I am very results-focused whoever I work with. I think I bring a combination of both warmth and dynamism to the sessions which is needed for relationship work, but it’s probably quite unusual to offer both these traits together in this area. I know I can also really challenge people quite hard due to the connection we have made. Being warm and having a sense of humour definitely helps achieve results!”
